14/20 gold-filled, or gold over lay, is made by heat-and pressure-bonding
of gold to a brass core.
The 1/20 notation refers to the ration of the 14 karat gold
layer to the brass layer by weight, which is 5%.

it tarnish-resistant.

gold-plated because gold-filled has an actual layer, not just
